Lets see where do I begin with the talented duo known as Main Attrackionz, they hail from the west coast and have been putting mixtapes out since 2009. Recently they released the 808 dark grapes II mixtapes which is one of my favorites for 2011, and was also reviewed by Pitchfork (it received a 7.5 out of 10 a little low to me). The sound you get from these guys is amazing light dreamy pop samples with a lyrical and melodic flow that is almost impossible to describe. Looking at the two you'd think that they would be some cheesy ghetto rappers talking about trapping and smoking weed, but looks can be deceiving, they deliver intelligent views on the way the world is. Personally I don't know why the buzz surrounding this duo is not bigger they have a strong cult fallowing and with recent collab's with great producers and the Harlem kid ASAP Rocky hopefully that will change. Check the guys out if your into laid back chilled out beats with a positive message.
